1. About these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of theauditiontechnique.com, The Audition Technique community hosted on Circle, and any courses, memberships, mentorship sessions and other products or services we provide (together, the "Services").

The Services are operated by The Audition Technique Holdings Pty Ltd (ABN 88 690 182 542) ("The Audition Technique", "TAT", "we", "us", "our"), of 1 Lennon St, West Melbourne VIC 3003, Australia.

By accessing the website, creating an account, or purchasing any product, you agree to these Terms, our Refund & Cancellation Policy and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • There is no minimum age to use the Services. If you are under 18, a parent or guardian should review and accept these Terms on your behalf and is responsible for your use of the Services and any purchases made for you.

  • You are responsible for keeping your account login secure and for all activity under your account.

  • Community access is provided through Circle and is also subject to Circle's own terms of use.

3. Purchases, pricing and payment

  • All prices are in USD and shown at the point of sale.

  • Payment is processed through Circle using Stripe. We do not store your full card details.

  • You authorise us (and our payment provider) to charge the amount shown for the product you select. For memberships, you authorise recurring charges until you cancel (see our Refund & Cancellation Policy).

  • We may change prices at any time, but changes do not affect purchases already completed.

4. Courses and licence to use content

  • When you buy a course, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and view the course content for your own learning.

  • "Lifetime access" means access for as long as we continue to operate the course and platform; it is not a guarantee that the course will be available forever.

  • You must not share, resell, sublicense, record, download (except where expressly permitted), reproduce, or distribute the course content, or give others access to your account.

  • Breaching this section may result in suspension or termination of your access without refund and may infringe our intellectual property rights.

5. Memberships and mentorship

  • Billing, renewal, cancellation and the mentorship cancellation window are set out in our Refund & Cancellation Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

  • Mentorship sessions are educational and advisory only. We give feedback and guidance; we do not act as your agent, manager, or representative.

6. Our intellectual property

  • All content we provide — courses, videos, written materials, frameworks, and the TAT name, logo and branding — is owned by us or our licensors and protected by intellectual property laws.

  • These Terms do not transfer any ownership of our content to you. You receive only the limited licence in Section 4.

7. Community content

  • The Audition Technique owns all rights in content submitted to or posted in the community (including posts, comments, messages, and any audition material or recordings you upload). To the maximum extent permitted by law you assign all such rights to us, and to the extent any rights cannot be assigned you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, host, reproduce, modify, publish and distribute that content for any purpose, including marketing and promotion, without further notice, attribution or payment.

  • You confirm you have the right to submit the content and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.

  • You must not post anything unlawful, infringing, abusive, or that breaches someone else's rights. We may remove content or suspend members at our discretion.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Services, including by attempting unauthorised access, scraping or copying content, sharing account access, harassing other members, or using the Services for anything unlawful.

9. No guarantee of results

The Services are educational. We do not guarantee that you will obtain auditions, representation, roles, paid work, or any particular career outcome. Your results depend on many factors outside our control. Nothing on our website, in our marketing, or in the Services is a promise of a specific result.

10. Disclaimers and liability

  • The Services are provided "as is" to the fullest extent permitted by law.

  • Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot be excluded. Where we are permitted to limit our liability, our total liability is limited, at our option, to re-supplying the relevant Service or paying the cost of having it re-supplied.

  • To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

11. Suspension and termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms (including the licence and acceptable-use provisions). Where termination results from your breach, no refund is payable, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.

12. Privacy

We handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version is always available on this page. Continued use of the Services after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State. This does not deprive you of the protection of mandatory consumer laws in your country of residence.
